Saturday June 3rd we will be leading a ramblin' ride around town to Minnecycle 5! Meet at the shop at 3pm to join in the tomfoolery, which will certainly include alleyways, secret singletrack, probably some stairs, and a good measure of stoke. Rung what you brung. We will roll out from the shop at 3:30pm, and arrive sometime around 5pm at the event. Bring beverages, bring lights (since we'll be rolling out for the after-after party, surely) bring your steely nerves.

About the event:

On June 3rd, 2017, Minnesota's community of internationally acclaimed and award winning custom builders come together to share their best work with the Twin Cities.

This year, show goers can look forward to seeing the Best In Show winner for both the 2017 North American Handmade Bicycle Show and 2016 Philadelphia Bike Expo, Minneapolis builder Peacock Groove’s Prince Tribute bike. This bike is completely custom, from the special polished stainless Artist Symbol frame details, custom white leather crying dove bar tape, and custom polished components from US companies such a PAUL Components and Gevenalle.

Show goers will enjoy a wide variety of bicycle types, from the traditional and highly refined classic track racing frames of Chris Kvale to the highly technical, high performance hand-laid ultra light carbon bikes of Matt Appleman. Other custom bicycle builders include Vincent Dominguez, Curt Goodrich, Bob Brown, Paul Wyganowski, Clockwork Bikes, Cake Bikes, Speedhound, Northern Frameworks, and Prairie Crow Bikeworks.

The Cycling Museum of Minnesota will have an interactive display. Sister Black Press, a local letterpress maker, will be printing exclusive event cards on the back of her pedal-powered bicycle print press.

That’s not all! New for MinneCycle 5 are other Minnesota-made bicycle product companies such as HED, Hammerbone bicycle caps, Dero Bike Racks, and Podiumwear Custom Apparel.
